The person appointed to fill the office of clerk or temporary clerk shall qualify before entering upon the duties of such office by furnishing an official bond in accordance with Chapter 3.88 BCC, and upon filing his or her oath to support the government of the United States of America, the state of Washington, the city of Bellevue and to faithfully perform his or her duties.
