This chapter applies to contracts entered into by the city for: (A) public works and improvements; (B) procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and technology services; and (C) professional and general services. As may reasonably be determined by the director of finance and asset management or his/her designee, this chapter may also be applied to any other agreement to commit city funds in exchange for goods, services, or other benefits. This chapter shall be construed to promote the purposes stated in BCC 4.28.010. (Ord. 6436 § 4, 2018; Ord. 6187 § 1, 2014.)
