A. In the event that subsequent to the issuance of a franchise the city annexes additional territory, a grantee shall, consistent with its obligations under a franchise, extend its cable communications services into the annexed area upon request of the city.

B. In the event that a grantee already provides cable communications services in the annexed area, the grantee shall, within 60 days of receipt of a written notice of the effective date of an annexation or incorporation, update all records to assure proper payment of franchise fees to the city for the annexed franchise area.
