Unless otherwise specifically authorized by the city council, no telecommunications right-of-way use agreement authorized hereunder shall remain in effect for a term of more than five years, subject to renewal pursuant to BCC 6.04.100. Nothing herein shall prohibit a holder of a right-of-way use agreement from filing a new application for a telecommunications right-of-way use agreement after the termination of the existing agreement.
