Initiative petitions containing the required signatures of registered voters of the city as provided in RCW 35A.11.100 must be filed with the city clerk within 90 days from the date of issuance of the initiative statement by the city attorney. If petitioner fails to file such petition within the prescribed time limit, it shall have no validity and the petition will not be considered by the council as an initiative petition.
