Notwithstanding BCC 24.02.065, the utility does not guarantee that water will be continuously available within the utility service area. Water may be temporarily unavailable due to a system failure, emergency, construction or maintenance or other unforeseen circumstance. The utility is not responsible for costs or damages incurred by property owner, tenant or customer due to an interruption in service, whether planned or unplanned. (Ord. 5963 § 1, 2010.)
