3.35.020 Fire chief – Appointment – Responsibilities.

The city manager shall appoint the fire chief who shall report directly to the city manager. The fire chief shall be appointed for an indefinite term and may be removed at any time by the city manager. The fire chief shall direct the operations of the fire department and may delegate such duties as necessary. (Ord. 6410 § 1, 2018.)
