A. The lodging charges described in this chapter shall be collected and administered by the Washington State Department of Revenue and the Washington State Treasurer in accordance with Chapter 35.101 RCW.

B. All distributions to the city of Bellevue for the BRTPA shall be held in the hotel/motel fund, until allocated in accordance with any adopted budget or authorized contract. Revenues collected from the Bellevue zone and the Redmond zone shall be kept separate as appropriate within the fund to ensure proper accounting.

C. Available funds shall be subject to appropriation by the legislative authority after considering the recommendations of the advisory board, and shall be used only for the purposes described in BCC 4.60.060.

D. The director of finance and asset management for the city of Bellevue is authorized to adopt rules and procedures to ensure proper receipt and accounting of all revenues collected under this chapter. (Ord. 6738 § 3, 2023.)
